Proper Conduct

Even a child makes himself known by his acts, by whether his conduct is pure and upright. Proverbs 20:11

Do you always practice what you preach? Even unintentionally, our actions can sometimes let us down. At times the guilt is felt immediately after we’ve done something and other times there is a short delay before the realisation of our actions hits home.

The behaviour of the Christian is often scrutinized harsher than anyone else’s, even among other Christians. That being said, the truth remains that we are known by our acts. What we do is a reflection of who we are, and we are supposed to be children of God.

It is so important, in all areas of our life, to think wisely about our conduct, for if it isn’t pure and upright in our own eyes, it certainly won’t be in the eyes of God.
